However, for more detailed analysis, a soil sample may need to be sent to a lab. Some labs provide a breakdown of the nutrients that are available in the soil as well.
Therefore, it's recommended that gardens choose a laboratory that provides a detailed analysis. It's also advisable to stick to the same lab since different labs show results differently. Frequently changing labs can confuse most gardeners with the analysis that seems different from each other.
